5 Years in the Making

We were introduced by mutual friends who, for years, had a hunch we’d be good together. Without us really knowing, they set things in motion and planned a weekend for us to meet in San Luis Obispo. Apparently, they were right—it worked out better than any of us could have guessed.

🥨 TAHÖBERFEST

Think of this as our warm-up party, and dressing up just makes it better.

Lederhosen, dirndls, hats, briads—any nod to Oktoberfest brings the night to life. But it’s not mandatory. If dressing up isn’t your thing, no pressure. You’ll still fit right in and have a great time.

💍 WEDDING DAY

💍 WEDDING DAY

💍 WEDDING DAY

Our ceremony is summer formal - suits for men, long colorful flowing dresses for women.

It’s a sunny mountain wedding, so aim for polished but comfortable. Light fabrics, soft colors. Wear something that feels good, moves well, and lets you enjoy the whole day and night with us.

The Venue

The HideOut, Kirkwood

43300 CA-88
Kirkwood, CA 95646

Tucked deep in the Sierra Nevada Mountains, The Hideout is a private 40-acre lodge surrounded by forest, meadows, and alpine peaks. Located just 20 minutes from Kirkwood Resort, the entire property is ours for the weekend—no neighbors, no rules, no distractions. The Hideout blends rustic charm with modern comfort: a hand-built lodge, sweeping decks, open fields, and endless mountain air. A perfect place to spend the weekend together—celebrating, eating, dancing, and making the most of having the mountains all to ourselves.

Tucked deep in the Sierra Nevada, The Hideout is a private 40-acre lodge surrounded by forest, meadows, and alpine peaks. It feels off the map, but it’s just a short drive from South Lake Tahoe and Sacramento. The entire property is ours for the weekend—no neighbors, no rules, no distractions.

For us, The Hideout is more than a venue. It’s like a second home—we know and love the family who built it and truly admire the place they’ve created.

The Hideout blends rustic charm with modern comfort: a hand-built main lodge, a full-size saloon, a forty-person hot tub, sweeping decks, open fields, and endless mountain air. It’s the kind of place where time slows down and everything feels a little more alive.

This is where we’ll spend the weekend together—celebrating, eating, dancing, and making the most of having the mountains all to ourselves.
